Through the checkpoint at Taroko Gorge. We had a one hour window to get there.

Great Hotel!

The hotel was 200 metres down from the main road. So we choose the restaurant that picked us up and took us home in a car. Hence, shabu shabu. It was grand.

Day 8 Tainan - Douliu - Sun Moon Lake

Caught the train from Tainan to Douliu and then ride up to Sun Moon Lake - into the hills!

Day 7 Donggang & Liuqiu

Rest day! Took the ferry to Liuqiu island for a swim and then trained it to Tainan. Short sprint to to two train stations before we got a train we could catch.

Day 6 Manzhou - Fang-Liao

Rode down to southern tip early but it was 34C at 7:30 with head wind, so things were slow. Lots of 7-11 pocari sweat stops. Might rename it to the 7-11 tour.

Day 5 Taitung - Manzhou

Rode to Taimali, caught the train across to Fang-Liao and then rode to Manzhou Kentington Retreat. Truly weird resort past its prime. Mostly a big riding day and hit, so not many photos.

I keep missing all of these amazing photos of 3yros on scooters standing up the front

The tired aging resort had three levels of entertainment including bowling, archery, firing range and it was all empty.
